Katrine is a graduate from the University of Toronto with a Master of Science in Physical Therapy and Bachelor of Science in Physiology and Nutritional Science. Katrine is also certified in acupuncture through the acupuncture foundation of Canada institute. Her academic background and clinical experience in outpatient orthopaedic settings have provided her with extensive knowledge in human anatomy, biomechanics, manual therapy, exercise prescription and sports rehabilitation. Her strong interest in orthopaedics and fitness guide her treatment philosophy, which emphasizes the use of education, manual therapy, active exercise program and sport-specific training to help clients achieve their goals and return to their normal activities and sports without pain or limitation.

An avid believer in life-long learning, Katrine continues to enrol in post-graduate courses. She has completed levels 1-3 certifications through the Orthopaedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association and has passed the Intermediate Practical Exam for that same syllabus. Katrine has obtained certifications in myofascial/soft tissue release therapy, athletic taping and level 1 acupuncture through Acupuncture Canada. She is also certified in the treatment of post-concussion syndrome and in Sport First Responder through the Canadian Red Cross.

Katrine is fluent in Tagalog. In her spare time, she enjoys running, swimming, weight training, kayaking, hiking, dancing and yoga. She is dedicated to educating the community in order to raise awareness of the importance of injury prevention and how physiotherapy can help in preventing potential injuries.
