DR. AMANDEV AULAKH

Amandev Aulakh completed her enhanced skills training in sport and exercise medicine at the University of Ottawa in 2014. Prior to this, she completed her family medicine training at Women’s College Hospital (University of Toronto) and she obtained her medical degree at Queen’s University. She also completed her Bachelor of Health Sciences and Master of Science
in Health Research Methodology at McMaster University. In addition to her time at Pivot, she also practices family medicine in the Toronto area.

She has provided volunteer coverage at a variety of events including the 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup, the 2015 Pan Am Games as a host medical venue lead for soccer, the 2015 Para Pan Am Games, 2016 IIHF Ice Hockey U18 Women’s World Championship, 2017 Canada Summer Games, 2017 Invictus Games and 2018 FIBA Americas U18 Men’s Basketball
Championships.

Amandev has worked with Canada Soccer and she currently works with the Ontario Regional EXCEL Super Centre (soccer). She has also volunteered at a number of Skate Canada events and was the Chief Medical Officer for the 2018 Autumn Classic International. She also sits on the OMA Section for Sport and Exercise Medicine.

Dr. Aulakh enjoys playing soccer, running and yoga and was a member of the McMaster
University field hockey team while completing her studies there.
