Christine has had a lifelong passion for sports and medicine. Her background includes 3 years of a BSc Physical Education degree from York University. She graduated from Sir Sandford Fleming College with a diploma in Massage Therapy and became a Registered Massage Therapist in 1998. Christine has added to her skill set by completing post graduate education in Joint Mobilizations of the Spine and the Foot, Massage for Pregnancy, and Active Soft Tissue Manipulation for the Upper and Lower extremities, Lumbar Spine and Cervical Spine.

She is a proud member of the Ontario Massage Therapist Association, the professional association for Massage Therapists in Ontario and is currently co-chair of the editorial committee and has served as the President and Chapter Representative for the Toronto Chapter of the OMTA from 2002-2005.

Her past massage experiences include Toronto International Marathon, Peterborough ½ Marathon, Peterborough ½ Ironman Triathlon, Bridgenorth Triathlon, Provincial Rhythmic Gymnastics Competitions, Ontario Winter Games, Lindsay Junior Hockey Team, Ganaraska Cycling Race, Toronto Dragon Boat Race and Bayside Rowing Invitational.

Christine has participated in many different sports which assist in her understanding of the injuries that her patients may incur, some of those activities include: tennis, badminton, figure skating, inline skating, skiing, curling, basketball, volleyball, canoeing, kayaking and Pilates. She has completed 2 Inline Skating Marathons. At Pivot, Christine’s focus is sport related massage as well as massage throughout pregnancy.
