MONIQUE ARSENAULT

Monique is a graduate from the University of Ottawa where she completed her Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy in 2003.  She then came to Toronto to start her physiotherapy career working on the orthopedic and rehabilitation units of Trillium Health Centre and then moved on to outpatient orthopedics in 2005.  She joined the Pivot team in October 2009.

Monique has completed the Level 2 of the Orthopaedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association.  She has also pursued further focus on manual therapy skills by completing her Certificate in Orthopaedic Manual Therapy in Australia.  She also worked as a physiotherapist in Australia for 6 months in order to obtain some international work experience. 

Monique also puts a big focus of her treatments on exercise to maximize outcome.  She has taken several courses in the United States related to functional movement screening/assessment to aid in injury prevention and performance enhancement and is also a STOTT PILATES certified instructor.   Monique continues to be keen to gaining additional knowledge with regular participation in many courses. 

Monique has been participating in many sports from a young age and continues today.  She understands the importance of rehabilitation in order for people to return to all the activities they enjoy and is happy to help them achieve their goals.
