SUSAN CZYZO

Susan is a graduate of the University of Toronto where she completed her Bachelor degree in Physical Education and Health (PEH) and her Master degree in Physical Therapy.
Susan has a strong background in a variety of sports which has resulted in a keen interest in sport medicine. While completing her third year in PEH, Susan served as a student therapist for Varsity Blues Swimming. Since graduating, Susan has worked with a wide variety of clients ranging from non-athletes to weekend-warriors to amateur athletes. Regardless of athletic potential, Susan thrives on helping every client maximize their participation in life, work and recreational pursuits.
Building on her physical therapy skills is an ongoing committment for Susan. Thus far, she has completed her Level 1 credentials of the Orthopaedic Division manual therapy syllabus and is currently working toward completing Level 2. Susan believes that the use of manual therapy, an individualized exercise program, and specific education for injury prevention is the optimal combination for successful rehabilitation.
Susan is fluent in Polish. She maintains an active lifestyle outside the clinic by participating in a variety of sports; such as volleyball, basketball, running, cycling and swimming, which help her better understand her clients’ injuries and goals. Most recently, Susan also learned the basics of surfing and looks forward to building on those skills. She also has a goal of completing her first sprint-triathlon in 2009.
