Pivot Staff Lead Medical Coverage For Skate Canada Event

Dr. Laura Cruz and Dinah Hampson have been named the Chief Medical Officer and Chief Therapist for the 2010 BMO Skate Canada Synchronized Skating Championships. The event will be held at the Powerade Centre in Brampton,ON from March 4th to the 6th. This competition brings a team atmosphere that is unlike any other sport ! The enthusiastic fans generate cheers that can be heard outside the arena. With support like that, it’s no surprise that Canada has some of the best synchronized skating teams in the world. Teams will compete for national titles in the novice, junior and senior categories. This national championship is also the qualifying event for the 2010 ISU World Synchronized Skating Championships to be held in Colorado in April.
