This class is 60 minutes of high-intensity metabolic conditioning focused on purposeful movements and neuromuscular training. It Includes a comprehensive dynamic warm up with core and glute activations as well as a cool down stretch sequence. This class is for anyone striving to gain muscular strength while challenging their cardiovascular endurance. This class is ideal for those who enjoy pushing themselves physically!
9:15am – 10:15am
This class is all about empowering women! Build strength and stability in an intimate, supportive class structure to move through the rest of the day with power, ease and grace. Join us for 60 minutes of fundamental and purposeful movement patterns combined with neuromuscular training!
Ensuring proper form and a clear understanding of the movements FIRST before we put it all together in a metabolic circuit format.
This class is a great way to support yourself and affirm your capability, all while fostering a sense of community.
10:30 – 11:30
Core for the FLOOR
(For men & women)
This class is all about learning how to engage your pelvic floor and proper breathing techniques. This is way more than just Kegels and it is for men and women, not just for those who are pre or post natal! This class is ideal for anyone who is looking to improve their overall core strength. Reconditioning these muscles will help eliminate dysfunction and improve movement quality.
11:45 – 12:45

The balance and stretch class targets a wide variety of needs. Our coaches will specifically assess your unique issues and create a structured class to facilitate these needs – this possible within our smaller group classes. Whether you are recovering from surgery, working with arthritis or trying to increase movement and decrease joint pain, a stretch and balance approach is your first step. Specific exercises will be taught to create a strong stimulus for the brain to adapt and learn, while learning correct stretching techniques that are specific to your body mechanics. The exercises that are performed in this class will help aid in recovery and promote pain free living.
1:00 – 2:00
Teenagers need to develop strength through fitness! This class is ideal for teens age 13-19 who are growing, recovering from an injury and returning to sports! This 60-minute class of metabolic conditioning will focus on purposeful movements and neuromuscular training, promoting physical strength, fitness and mental confidence. This class is suitable following surgery, (AED on-site) and for high performance athletes and foundation movers alike. The smaller group format provides an ideal setting where teens can focus on their individual needs with the instructor while having fun getting fit with their peers.
Erika has completed her Bachelors of Kinesiology at the University of Toronto and her strong understanding of anatomy, biomechanics, physiology, exercise prescription and ethical standards to our team. The comprehensive foundation prepared Erika for her entry-level board exam and she was welcomed into the College of Kinesiologists of Ontario as an active general member.
Over the last 4 years she’s worked as a personal trainer teaching many high intensity metabolic conditioning group classes, kettle bell introductory classes and one-on-one sessions with personalized periodized programs.
Erika’s sports history includes volleyball, competitive soccer and rugby. Throughout her rugby career she experienced 12 concussions. Through the rehabilitative process and over-coming this injury she gained insight into which help her connect with her clients and encourage them to invested in their unique process towards health and wellness goals
Erika is passionate about teaching individuals fundamental and purposeful movement patterns that translate into strength, grace, balance and ease in their everyday life. She believes in a holistic training approach and strives to create a safe, challenging and ultimately enjoyable experience.
Certified Personal Trainer/ Registered Massage Therapist
Derick graduated from the Fitness and Health Promotion Program at Fanshawe
College where he became a Certified Personal Trainer through the Canadian Society of Exercises Physiology. He then went on to become a Registered Massage Therapist through the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario.
Derick has an extensive background in playing competitive hockey. He currently serves as team trainer for the Thamesford Trojans Jr. C Hockey Club where he uses his skills in sports specific training and massage therapy to carry out effective warm up/cool downs; as well as, manual techniques and mobility work for the team before and after games.
He is currently working at Think Fitness as a Fitness Coach using a performance based training style acquired from 4 years working with many different clients from all sports and fitness levels to help them reach their true potential. His philosophy is that everyone should train like an athlete. Derick is determined to continually learn and expand his skills as a Personal Trainer and Massage Therapist. He is highly motivated to help his clients meet their individualized goals.
