8:00 – 9:00

This class is 60 minutes of high-intensity metabolic conditioning focused on purposeful movements and neuromuscular training. Including a comprehensive dynamic warm up with core and glute activations as well as a cool down stretch sequence. This class is for anyone striving to gain muscular strength while challenging their cardiovascular endurance. This class is ideal for those who enjoy pushing themselves physically!
10:30 – 11:30
Core for the FLOOR
(For men & women)
This class is all about learning how to engage your pelvic floor and proper breathing techniques. This is way more than just kegals and it is for men & women not just for those who are pre or post natal! This class is ideal for anyone who are looking to improve their overall core strength. Reconditioning these muscles will help eliminate dysfunctions and improve movement quality
1:00 – 2:00
Teenagers need to develop strength through fitness! This class is ideal for teens age 13-19 who are growing, recovering from an injury and returning to sports! During this 60 minute class of metabolic conditioning we’ll focus on purposeful movements and neuromuscular training. This class uses current research in youth exercise to promote both physical strength and fitness in addition to mental confidence. Each class will include a comprehensive dynamic warm up with core and glute activation as well as a cool down stretch sequence, covering head to toe conditioning.
9:15 – 10:15
This class is all about empowering women! Helping them build strength so they can move through the rest of their day with power, ease and grace. Just like PivotFit, this is a 60 minute high-intensity metabolic conditioning class focused on purposeful movements and neuromuscular training JUST for women. This class is for any woman who wants to gain muscular strength all while supporting their fellow sister and fostering a sense of community.
11:45 – 12:45
(for men & women)
This class is a mixture of challenging your proprioception as well as relaxing and rejuvenating stretching sequences. During the balance component you will be doing movements that encourages a strong stimulus for the brain to adapt and learn. In the stretching component you will learn how to accurately stretch sore or tight muscles using breathing skills and proper body positioning. This class is a slower pace and ideal for those wanting to create a strong sense of body awareness.

Erika has completed her Bachelors of Kinesiology at the University of Toronto and her strong understanding of anatomy, biomechanics, physiology, exercise prescription and ethical standards to our team. The comprehensive foundation prepared Erika for her entry-level board exam and she was welcomed into the College of Kinesiologists of Ontario as an active general member.
Over the last 4 years she’s worked as a personal trainer teaching many high intensity metabolic conditioning group classes, kettle bell introductory classes and one-on-one sessions with personalized periodized programs.
Erika’s sports history includes volleyball, competitive soccer and rugby. Throughout her rugby career she experienced 12 concussions. Through the rehabilitative process and over-coming this injury she gained insight into which help her connect with her clients and encourage them to invested in their unique process towards health and wellness goals
Erika is passionate about teaching individuals fundamental and purposeful movement patterns that translate into strength, grace, balance and ease in their everyday life. She believes in a holistic training approach and strives to create a safe, challenging and ultimately enjoyable experience.
Derick graduated from the Fitness and Health Promotion Program at Fanshawe
College where he became a Certified Personal Trainer through the Canadian Society of Exercises Physiology. He then went on to become a Registered Massage Therapist through the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario.
Derick has an extensive background in playing competitive hockey. He currently serves as team trainer for the Thamesford Trojans Jr. C Hockey Club where he uses his skills in sports specific training and massage therapy to carry out effective warm up/cool downs; as well as, manual techniques and mobility work for the team before and after games.
He is currently working at Think Fitness as a Fitness Coach using a performance based training style acquired from 4 years working with many different clients from all sports and fitness levels to help them reach their true potential. His philosophy is that everyone should train like an athlete. Derick is determined to continually learn and expand his skills as a Personal Trainer and Massage Therapist. He is highly motivated to help his clients meet their individualized goals.
