Claire has engaged in an active lifestyle from a young age through her involvement in dance. Her passion for dance has evolved into a strong interest in movement, performance, and health. Claire earned her Bachelor of Human Kinetics with Honours in Movement Science, with a minor in Psychology, from the University of Windsor. During her studies, she also worked as a dance instructor, teaching jazz, tap, ballet, hip hop, pre-pointe, lyrical, and early years classes. Through this experience, she developed a strong understanding of dance technique, movement assessment, individualized feedback, and injury prevention. Claire went on to complete her Master of Physical Therapy at Western University, where she gained diverse clinical experience through placements in inpatient oncology, occupational health, pediatrics, and sports rehabilitation. These experiences have shaped her approach to care, emphasizing patient-centered treatment, individualized goals, and empowering patients to take an active role in their recovery. Claire has a particular interest in working with dancers and artistic athletes, pelvic floor rehabilitation, and endurance athletes, including marathon runners. As a marathon runner herself, she understands the physical demands of endurance training and the importance of balancing performance goals with injury prevention and recovery. In practice, Claire uses a combination of patient education, exercise, strength and movement retraining, and manual therapy, tailoring each treatment plan to the individual’s needs and goals. Committed to lifelong learning, she values evidence-based practice and continues to pursue further education to expand her clinical skills. Outside of work, Claire enjoys running and marathon training, weightlifting, yoga, and taking dance classes. She is passionate about helping others improve and maintain their quality of life while supporting them in reaching their personal and performance goals.
