Luke is an Registered Kinesiologist and Osteopathic Manual Practitioner based out of Willemstad, Curacao. He completed a 4-year honours degree in kinesiology from the University of Western Ontario before receiving his diploma of osteopathic manual practice (DOMP) at the Canadian College of Osteopathy. He continued his studies completing a master’s degree in Rehabilitation Sciences through the University of British Columbia.
While studying, Luke competed as a pentathlete for his varsity track and field team. This experience opened his eyes to the world of sports medicine and exercise physiology. After graduating Luke balanced both clinical rehabilitation work with personal training and physical training in high performance sport settings. Luke has worked with Trinidad & Tobago’s olympic committee, Curacao’s national soccer federation and individual professional athletes from diverse disciplines like Major League Baseball, Major League Soccer and yes, dance too! Consulting with Luke will involve a comprehensive assessment including an in-depth, client-centered interview, functional movement screens, goal setting, personalized performance programming, and program evaluation all tailored to the demands of your discipline.
When not in the studio, Luke can be found playing capoeira, soccer or mountain biking. He speaks English and Spanish.
