Marina graduated with Honors from the Humber Polytechnic Massage Therapy Program. With a love of athletics and a background as a professional dancer, she utilizes her understanding of biomechanics and shared language to help her connect with her patients. With her empathetic nature and passion for helping others, Marina brings a grounded and holistic approach to all of her treatments.
Marina values the importance of communication and collaboration, ensuring that each patient is informed and feels safe throughout each session. Whether addressing a chronic injury, releasing those pesky knots, or needing some quality relaxation time to de-stress, Marina tailors each treatment to meet specific patient needs and goals. With a passion for treating athletes, Marina integrates trigger point therapy, myofascial release techniques, targeted stretching, and can provide take-home exercises to help you maintain, recover or reach your optimal health goals.
Outside of her professional life, Marina is currently a company member of REAson d’etre dance, a contact improvisation dance theatre company in Toronto. She also has her Level 2 Reiki and 200 hr yoga certification. When not dancing, Marina enjoys spending time in nature, watching reality tv and relaxing with her cat, Tofu.
