Registered Physiotherapist
Stephanie knew she wanted to be a physiotherapist from a young age. With various injuries during her soccer career, she knew early on that she wanted to help others in the same way. After playing goalie for many years, she went to the University of Mount Olive in North Carolina where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. In her graduating year, she was part of the Conference Carolina’s All Academic list. While at school, she was part of the starting lineup for her soccer team, and earned a position on the Third Team All-Conference her junior year through her accomplishments on the field.
Stephanie returned to Canada to complete her Masters of Physiotherapy at McMaster University. While earning her degree, she had many placements with different populations, but felt most at home working with people with various sports injuries.
Since graduating in 2019, she has completed courses for Acupuncture, Concussion Therapy as well as her Level 1 and 2 Pelvic Health courses. She looks forward to continue to expand her knowledge through more courses in the future.
She continues to play soccer, but has found a new home on the golf course during the summer. If she’s not trying to stay active through weightlifting, she’s likely playing on her Nintendo Switch or hanging out with friends and family.
Stephanie will work with you toward your goals using a multimodal approach, including manual therapy and exercise in order to get you back to your usual activities. She’s excited for what is in store in the big city and can’t wait to help others!
